This policy explains how AfriBase Paints (Pty) Ltd handles personal information collected through www.afribasepaints.co.za, our contact and newsletter forms, and direct enquiries. It is written with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 in mind.

We collect the details you give us: name, email address, phone number, the content of your message and, where relevant, the site address for a quote. Our newsletter form collects an email address only. Our host may keep standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.
How we use it
We use your information to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, deliver orders, provide painting services, send the newsletter you asked for and keep records required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
Information is shared only with team members and service providers who need it to do the work, for example a courier delivering an order or our email provider sending a reply. They may use it for that purpose only.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies to remember your cookie choice and to measure basic usage. You can accept or decline through the banner, and you can clear cookies in your browser at any time.
Retention and security
We keep enquiry and order records for as long as we need them for business and legal purposes, then delete them. Access to records is limited to staff who need it.
Your rights
