This website is published by AfriBase Paints (Pty) Ltd, registration 2018/250550/07. The content is provided for general information about our products and services. Product descriptions, features and colour names are given in good faith and may be updated as formulations improve.
Quotes and orders
A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise on the document. Prices depend on volume, surface condition, access and location. An order is confirmed once we accept it in writing and receive any deposit stated on the quote.
Products and application
Coverage rates and drying times depend on the surface, the film thickness and the weather on the day. Follow the instructions on the container and the guidance on the relevant product page. Where surfaces are not properly prepared, we cannot warrant the finish.
Painting services
Our teams work to our internal standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, No. 85 of 1993. Site access, water and electricity are the customer's responsibility unless the quote says otherwise. Variations to agreed scope are quoted before the work is done.
Colour accuracy
Colours shown on screens and in printed material are a guide. Ask for a sample or apply a test patch before committing to a scheme.
Liability
We are responsible for the quality of the products we manufacture and the workmanship of our teams. We are not liable for indirect loss, or for damage caused by unsuitable substrates, third party products, later alterations or misuse.
Intellectual property
The AfriBase name, logo, product names, text and images on this site belong to AfriBase Paints (Pty) Ltd and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
